LIVE: Georgia Trump case: Judge hearing motions in ELECTION INTERFERENCE INDICTMENT
The judge in the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump and others is holding a hearing on pretrial motions. Trump's lawyers argue the charges against him seek to criminalize political speech that is protected by the First Amendment. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee is forging ahead with the case even as Trump and other defendants attempt to appeal the ruling in which the judge said District Attorney Fani Willis can continue the prosecution.
